Staff Maestro He graduated from Vilnius Conservatory (1997) and the Warsaw Academy of Music (2002) – the faculty of choral conducting in R. Zimak's class. In 2009, he got a doctoral degree in arts. Between 2002 and 2004, Zimnicki has been working in Warsaw Chamber Opera as a assistant conductor. He participated in preparing choral parts of numerous operas and oratorios. Currently, he works at the Warsaw University of Music and holds the position of a lecturer in the Department of Choral Conducting, as well as that of an assistant conductor in both the WUoM Mixed Choir and the departmental vocal ensemble. Since 2004, Zimnicki has been the conductor of two leading choirs in Warsaw – the University of Technology Choir and the Warsaw Archcathedral Choir. Together, they give numerous concerts comprising of both a capella works and vocal-instrumental pieces. Furthermore, he participates in a large number of festivals and concerts, both at home and abroad. Additionaly, he is a co-founder of the Tibi Domine Choir in Warsaw. Dariusz Zimnicki was granted a Ministry of Culture Scholarship for outstanding scholastic achievements. In 2002, he won the 3rd prize and the special prize for the interpretation of Kurpian Songs by Karol Szymanowski during the Competition for Choral Conductors in Poznan. Meanwhile, he had his debut as an orchestral conductor performing Beethoven's Coriolan Ouverture during the Gwiazdy promują festival in the Silesian Philharmonic Hall. He participated in numerous conducting and music interpretation mastercourses, in Poland and abroad, including the Masterclasses of Bob Chilcot, Bo Holten and Chifuru Matsubara. Since 2006, he has been a regional co-ordinator of All-Polish programme Śpiewająca Polska, the aim of which is to promote and develop school choirs. He is also involved in organising a great number concerts and choir festivals. Assistant Conductor Justyna Banaszkiewicz Alumnus of Public Music School in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, leading instrument: piano. Fourth year student of Music Theory and third year student of Musical Ensembles Management led by Dariusz Zimnicki Ph. D. at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. As a assistant conductor I cooperate with Warsaw Archcathedral Choir and Academic Choir of Warsaw University of Technology. Laureate at the XIII National Choral Conductor Contest in Poznan (2010).
